Grahamm Wiest, Psy.D.

Grahamm Wiest, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist who provides evidence-based neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Wiest holds a medical faculty appointment at Providence Mission Heritage Hospital, where he works directly within the Neurology Department, specializing in adult populations. He previously served on the medical faculty at the Jonathan Jaques Cancer Institute at Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Long Beach, California, where he focused on neuropsychological care for patients with blood disorders and various cancers. During his tenure there, he also served as associate training director for psychology, supervising doctoral students in neuropsychology.

Dr. Wiest earned his doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. He completed an APA-accredited internship at Western Youth Services and a formal two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at One Neuro Clinic. His clinical approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy with third-wave modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), process-oriented hypnosis, and other evidence-based interventions.

 

Dr. Wiest’s research and publications center on cognitive rehabilitation and the remediation of working memory and attentional skills, with additional focus on late effects of chemotherapy and central nervous system tumors, pain management in sickle cell disease, and equitable access to healthcare for underserved populations.
